“It is therefore essential that education in prayer should become in some way a key-point of all pastoral planning.  How helpful it would be if not only in religious communities but also in parishes more where done to ensure an all-pervading climate of prayer.” – Pope John Paul II

The all-pervading climate of prayer John Paul II speaks of is something that can be created within each parish.  Our purpose in establishing Schools of Prayer is to help parishes sustain an environment where people grow in their desire to have an intimate relationship with Christ.  

Help Promote and Spread the Word: 

The most important way to get involved now is to start promoting and spreading the word about our new ministry.  The Catholic Church is in desperate need of an awakening, and it will only come about through prayer.  If you want to get involved now, start praying.  Make your life a life of falling in love with Jesus.  Once your heart has been touched by the Lord in prayer, start telling other people about the Lord and how He has encountered you in prayer.

Ways in which you can start promoting and spreading the word, and some of the things to tell your family and friends are as follows:

• Pope Benedict XVI has asked there to be perpetual adoration in every diocese
• Pope John Paul II has asked for Schools of Prayer in every community
• Prayer - The One Thing Necessary - is the only solution to the Vocations Crisis
• Catholic Communities of Prayer (CCOP) is here to respond to the moving of the Holy Spirit in our time and in our Church
